Army Chief frowns at operational disregard, poor standards among soldiers
The General Officer Commanding GOC 8 Division of the Nigeria Army, Major General GM Ajose, has decried the slack in the execution of military directives and failure to uphold standards amongst Soldiers The GOC expressed dismay over the persistent disregard for critical operational directives, citing poor management of troops’ welfare and lack of adherence to administrative checklists within the Division’s Area of Responsibility (AOR). Delivering a keynote address at the opening of a two-day training conference for Commanding Officers COs, Operation Officers Ops, Adjutants ADJTs, and Administrative Officers ADs within the Division with the theme: “Enhancing staff Officers’ capabilities for operational efficiency,” aims to equip officers with the necessary knowledge to tackle evolving security and administrative challenges.
